I was born in Queens, NY but lived most of my life in South Florida. Miami is a wonderful place to explore world cuisine especially food from all over Latin America.
My family and many of my friends live in South Florida. To explore and experiment food with those you love is a glorious treat. My parents are both from Colombia, South America and I grew up enjoying the richness and variety of Colombian cuisine.

You can not go to Miami and not experience a wonderfully delicious cuban coffee at one of the many “ventanitas” (walk up windows) in the city. Here, we enjoyed a Cuban coffee at El Pub Restaurant on Calle Ocho.

One of our Cuban favorites is Havana 1957. Here we enjoyed a great Cuban breakfast:

We also found some great places for healthy clean food. One of our favorites was Love Life Cafe located in the Wynwood District of Miami.
